What if Behe (IDer who accepts common descent and doesn't posit anything like progressive creation) and Miller (a very theo-friendly natural selectionist) travelled in a time-machine, giving them an incredibly precise perspective of past biology, so that they could observe all phenotypes, even at the cellular level w/o being able to observe the genotypes (they couldn't see DNA, etc.) ?
What if they both saw what they expected to see? In such a case, the only thing they would disagree about would be the precise mechanisms and probabilities of what had actually happened.
